I must pass on a little dialogue that happened this morning between the CEO and me in the MWonline Global Headquarters here “in the Burg”.
CEO: Hey, guess what, I’m reading a book in English again for the first time for a while.
The Brit: Oh, that’s nice! What are you reading then?
CEO: A sriller.
The Brit: A what?
CEO: A sriller.
The Brit: Err … what on earth is a sriller?
CEO: Oh come on, you know what I mean … an exciting story with action, adventure, spies, a bit of shooting, car chases etc. etc.
The Brit: Ohhhh … right … you mean a thriller …
CEO: Yeah, like I said, a sriller …
The Brit: Good … excellent … well, do enjoy it then! Thinks: Mmm … let’s hope he’s not reading it out loud to his kids …!
